Jan Winslow is in her sixth season on the Fresno State softball coaching staff. Having an extensive background in media relations on the Division I level, she spent 12 years at Fresno State as an assistant sports information director before joining head coach Margie Wright as an assistant.
Earning 28 national awards of excellence in media guides and game programs from CoSIDA, Winslow also had four media guides that were tops in the nation and 19 publications that finished among the top ten, nationally.
In the sport of softball, Winslow has provided color and play-by-play duties for internet broadcasts on the Bulldogs. Having worked as the local media coordinator for three USA Softball national tours and nine NCAA Division I Regional Championships in Fresno, she served as the official television/statistical expert for Bud Sports Productions in the sport of softball at the 1996 Summer Olympic Games in Atlanta.
A St. Louis, Mo., native, Winslow graduated from Saint Louis University with a bachelor of arts degree in communications and a minor in marketing. She also received a masters of science degree in education from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale.
