Three WCWS DVD's Now Available For Purchase

FRESNO, Calif. - The online store for NCAA Sports CD's, NCAA on Demand, has now made available for purchase, as of this summer, DVD copies of Fresno State softball in the championship games vs. UCLA in 1988 and 1990 in which the Bulldogs finished second and of the National Championship game in 1998 when the Bulldogs defeated Arizona for the University's first-ever National Championship. Fresno State softball ranks third amongst Division I schools in NCAA Women's College World Series championship game appearances with five, having finished second four times and winning the schools first-ever National Title. The 1998 team defeated favored Arizona 1-0 behind pitching of the WCWS MVP Amanda Scott and a solo home run by Nina Lindenberg. The Bulldogs have also appeared in 12 of the 27 WCWS and are the only team to have advanced to all 27 NCAA Tournament Regionals. The videos are available for $24.99 a piece.
