Prigge Named WAC Champion Of Platform

Sophomore Hannah Prigge was the first Bulldog to win a final event at the WAC Championships and she did it in the Platform dive Saturday evening.

Prigge Places Third In 3-Meter Dive

On day three of the swimming and diving WAC Championships, three Bulldogs broke school records, yet again, as they stay in sixth place.

Fresno State: (2011-12) As a sophomore Dockendorf broke the school record in the 200 IM with a time of 2:04.80 at the WAC Championships ... recorded a season best time in the 200 Breaststroke clocking in at 2:15.56 ... swam a season best time in the 100 breastroke 1:03.48 earning a 6th place finish at the WAC Championships ...clocked a season best time in the 200 butterfly with a 2:09.61 ...will compete in the 2012 Olympic Trials this June in the 200 Breastroke.

(2010-11) One of the top breaststroke competitors for the Bulldogs in her first year...the top competitor in the 200-yard breaststroke clocking a time of 2:17.81 at the Arena Invitational...this time ranked fourth best in the WAC...recorded a season-best time at the WAC Championship Meet in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:05.07...earned the first WAC swimmer of the week honors since the return of the program in 2008...earned the award for her performance in her first collegiate swim meet where she individually won the 200-yard breaststroke and helped earn a third of her teams points.

Dos Pueblos Senior High School: Four year letterwinner on the swim team ... named three-time team MVP (2007, 2009, 2010) and Athlete of the Year (06-07, 07-08, 09-10) ... set her high school and Channel League record for the 100 breaststroke (1:04.9) and the 200 individual medley (2:06) ... led her team to a 5-1 record her senior year.

Personal: Born January 25, 1992 ... parents are Michael and Renee Dockendorf ... has one sister, Jordan, who plays college tennis at UCSB and transferred from UCLA ... hobbies include dancing, photography, and filming ... her biggest athletic thrill was as a 14 year old, she made the 2007 Senior Nationals cut in Clovis by .04 in the 200 breaststroke ... chose Fresno State because of the coaches and the swim team as they are always unified and together and have a great sense of humor.
