Fresno State: (2012-13) Named to the 2013 Spring Academic All-Mountain West team ... as a senior Hicks competed in middle distance freestyle races ... she recorded her career best time of 55.27 in the 100 free at the MW Championship along with a 2:00.09 in the 200 free.
Fresno State: 2011-12 (Junior): In her third season as a Bulldog, Hicks held the third fastest time in the 1000 (10:30.31) and 1650 Freestyle (17:23.73) ... recorded a season best time in the 500 Freestyle with a 5:06.34 at the WAC Championships ... her 1650 Freestyle time ranked her 13th best in the WAC.
2010-11 (Sophomore): Continued to improve as one of the Bulldogs top distance performers...clocked two career-records at the WAC Championship Meet...swam the 500-yard freestyle in 5:05.63 and the 1650-yard freestyle in 17:21.90...her 1650 free time ranked 14th best in the WAC...swam a career-best in the 1000-yard freestyle against San Jose State with a time of 10:42.35...was voted as the Most Improved by her teammates.
2009-10 (Freshman): As a freshman, established herself as one of the `Dogs top distance swimmers ... had a strong performance at the Toshiba Classic posting a career-best time of 5:09.27 ... won multiple distance freestyle races including a dominating performance in a dual meet victory over Cal State Bakersfield where she finished first in both the 500 (5:20.13) and 1,000 (10:57.79) ... was a major contributor for the `Dogs in the freestyle relays ... swam a career best 17:43.39 in the one mile race good enough to score an important meet point for the Bulldogs.
