The Fresno State Bulldogs swimming and diving team had a strong showing against the San Diego State Aztecs in San Diego, Calif. Saturday afternoon.

Carmel HS: A four year varsity letterwinner in swimming ... named team captain her senior year ... named Swimmer of the Year in 2010 and 2012 and was an Athlete of the Year nominee in 2011 ... earned First Team All-League in 2009, '10, '11, '12 ... honored on the CIF All-Academic team in 2011 ... was Rock Climbing Club secretary from 2009-11 ... was a CIF member from 2010-12 and a National Honors Society member her senior year. Personal: Born June 23, 1994 ... parents are Julie and Brad Jones ... has an older sister Shelby ... hobbies include shopping, sleeping, hanging out with friends and eating ... lists Ryan Lochte because he is an Olympian and won gold in 2012 ... her biggest athletic thrill was breaking the CIF record in the 200 Freestyle Relay in 2011 ... admires her grandma the most because she overcame cancer and inspires her to be herself ... chose to attend Fresno State because it has a great athletic program, nursing program and loved the amazing group of girls on the team ... also a member of the Fresno State Smittcamp Honors College.
