The Fresno State swimming and diving team won its first meet in the Fresno State Aquatics Center.

Fresno State: 2011-12 (Sophomore): Competed in every freestyle event for the Bulldogs ... recorded the second fastest team time in the 1000 Freestyle (10:27.12) at the WAC Championships... recorded the second fast team time in the 1650 (17:17.75) also at the WAC Championships, finishing 10th ... recorded a season best time in the 500 Freestyle (5:02.31) and 200 Freestyle (1:53.64) at the WAC Championships ... clocked a 50 Freestyle season best time of 25.71agaisnt San Jose State and a 100 Freestyle season best time of 57.35 against UC Davis ... voted Most Improved Swimmer for the 2011-12 season.
2010-11 (Freshman): An all-around freestyle competitor for the Bulldogs...one of the top 200-yard freestyle swimmers...swam a career-best at WAC Championships with a time of 1:55.63...fastest time in the 1000-yard freestyle with a time of 10:44.86 at CSUB Quad... had a fifth place finish as the 'Dogs topped UC San Diego and CSUB...at the Arena Invitational clocked a 5:13.85 in the 500-yard freestyle.
Rocklin HS: Was a four year varsity letterwinner in swimming...named captain junior and senior year...holds the school record in the 200 medley relay...earned all-American honors in the 200 medley relay and the 200 free relay.
Personal: Born November 10, 1992...parents are Paul and Kathy Melnikov...hobbies include relaxing, traveling, reading, swimming and shopping...lists her favorite athlete as Michael Phelps because he does the impossible...chose Fresno State because she loved the team and how big the sports are at the university.
