    Fresno State: (2010-11) Contributed in multiple events for the Dogs...swam a season-best 100-yard butterfly at the Arena Invitational...improves her 200-yard fly throughout the season and topped it in the teams final meet, the WAC Championship, as well as her 400-yard individual medley time.

    California State University, Bakersfield: Swam three seasons for the Roadrunners...worked to improve her personal-best times in the 100 fly (1:01), 200 fly (2:14), and the 400 IM (5:52)...also ran collegiate cross country.

    South Tahoe High School: Four year varsity competitor for the swim team...four-time regional finalist...team captain for two years...holds the record for the 400 IM and as a member of the 200 IM relay team...swam every event except the 50 freestyle...also a four year varsity cross country runner...helped her team to three CIF State Championships...her team placed 14th at Nike Team Nationals...a member of the Nevada State Club swimming team all four years...also the Treasurer of the National Honor Society, the Lead AVID Tutor, a Key Club member, Honors Program student, and honor roll member.

    Personal: Born April 14, 1989...parents are Jeffery Payne and Leona Gage-Payne... hobbies include skiing, hiking, beach volleyball, running and traveling... she most admires her mom because she is her best friend, sister, role model, and care giver... chose Fresno State because she liked the campus, atmosphere, the warm weather, and it's close to her family.
