    Bulldogs Sights Set On MW Championships

    The Fresno State swimming and diving team will compete at its first Mountain West Championship meet this week.

    Fresno State: (2012-13) Named to the 2013 Spring Academic All-Mountain West team ... set a new Fresno State school record in the 1-meter dive scoring a 295.70 at her final home meet of her Bulldog career ... recorded a career best score of 290.05in the 3-meter dive on senior day as well ... qualified for her fourth consecutive NCAA Zones competition with her first diving score of the season and received multiple qualifying scores after that ... finished third at the MW Championship in the 1-meter dive with a 291.51.

    Fresno State: 2011-12 (Junior): A strong, dynamic diver in her third season as a Bulldog ... qualified to compete in the NCAA Diving Zones for the third consecutive season ... qualified for Zones in the first home meet of the season against Fresno Pacific ... scored a 267.5 in the 1-meter dive needing a 265 or higher to qualify ... broke the school record in a 1-meter dual meet dive recording a 294.70 at the USD Beach Cup on January 19 ... her 3-meter season best dive came at the WAC Championships with a score of 280.50 ... recorded a season best Platform dive at WAC Championships with a 204.35.

    2010-11 (Sophomore): Continued to be the Bulldogs top diver and one of the top divers in the WAC...qualified to compete in the NCAA Diving Zones for the second consecutive season...qualified for finals off the 1-meter board and had a 14th-place finish...qualified for Zones in the Dogs dual meet against San Jose State where she claimed the 1-meter diving title with a score of 271.65...the score also replaced her career-best mark...dove a career-best platform dive at the UCLA Diving Invite with a score of 206.40...she claimed a 1-meter title at UC Davis and second-place off the 3-meter board...was voted by her teammates as the MVP Diver.

    2009-10 (Freshman): Established herself as one of the WAC's top divers as a freshman ... became the first Bulldog diver to qualify for the NCAA Diving Zones with a career best performance of 265.87 coming against conference rival San Jose State ... finished 40th overall at the NCAA Diving ... competed for the first time in her career on the platforms at the WAC Championships where she qualified for the final round earning a seventh place overall finish with a score of 193.47 ... dominated the boards against Fresno Pacific with a 1-meter score of 250.20 and a 3-meter score of 249.00 both good enough for first place ... recorded a second place finish in the 3-meter dive against defending WAC champion Nevada with a score of 232.50 ... finished second in both the 1- and 3-meter dive against the defending National Champion Cal Bears ... conquered both boards at the 2010 Beach cup bringing home first place for the `Dogs in both the 1- (252.10) and 3-meter (250.70) dives ... qualified for finals in the 1-meter dive at the WAC Championships where she brought home an eighth place finish and crucial dual meet points ... earned first place finishes in both diving events against San Jose State with career bests in both the 1- (265.87) and 3-meter (279.07) dives ... accumulated seven overall first place finishes with three in the 1-meter and four on the 3-meter ... two-time WAC diver of the week ... named team MVP diver.
