The 2011-12 swimming and diving team wrapped up the season with a banquet honoring the season, seniors and school records.

Yoho Named Sysco Student-Athlete of the Week

Yoho qualified for the 2012 Olympic Trials on Saturday after swimming the 50 Freestyle in long course with the time of 26.39, the exact time needed to qualify.

Prigge Named WAC Champion Of Platform

Sophomore Hannah Prigge was the first Bulldog to win a final event at the WAC Championships and she did it in the Platform dive Saturday evening.

Seven 'Dogs In Finals On Day 2

The Fresno State swimming and diving team qualified seven swimmers in the finals, the most ever in one day and broke two school records on day two.

Fresno State: (2011-12) Was the top Bulldog again in the 50 Freestyle ... recorded a new school record in the 50 with a 22.87 to give her a fourth place finish at the WAC Championships ... finished sixth in the 100 Freestyle at the WAC Championships with a time of 50.82 ... was the lead leg on the 400 Freestyle Relay team that broke the school record with a time of 3:24.77 at WAC Championships ... holds the top three fastest times in the 50 Freestyle school records ... recorded the team fastest time in the 100 Free with a 50.65 ... competed in her first US Senior National meet in December in the 50 Free ... qualified for the US Olympic Trials in the 50 Free long course with the time of 26.39.

(2010-11) An outstanding competitor for the Bulldogs through the water...concluded her fabulous second season at the WAC Championship Meet where she contributed to the breaking of six Fresno State records and an NCAA b-cut qualifying time...shattered the 100-yard freestyle record placing fourth in the preliminaries with a time of 50.20 and also placed fourth in the finals...swam the last leg of the record breaking 400-yard freestyle relay team with a time of 3:25.68...individually broke the 50-yard freestyle along with being a part of the 200-yard freestyle relays and the 200-yard medley relay teams...won the 50 free at Idaho in their first road trip of the season...broke the school record in the 50 free twice against Washington State...then in the opening day of the Arena Invitational she broke the 50 free record twice in one day for the second time...helped her team to a second place finish in the Valley Invite by winning the 50 free and the 200 medley relay... added another record to her books as she clipped the meet record for the 100 yard freestyle after earning a time of 51.97 at the Valley Invite...voted by her teammates as the MVP swimmer for the season.

(2009-10) Shattered a decade old school record in the 50 freestyle event with a time of 23.64 in the 2009 Toshiba Classic where she finished 14th out of 210 swimmers ... qualified for the finals in the 50 free at the WAC Championship where she finished seventh overall ... established herself as the Bulldog's top sprint freestyle swimmer with top team times in both the 50 and 100 free (52.52) events ... got her first-ever NCAA individual event victories against Nevada where she swam a 24.71 in the 50 free and a 54.62 in the 100 ... dominated both the 50 and 100 free events against Pacific and Cal State Bakersfield to add four more career wins ... accumulated seven single event victories ... contributed as a crucial leg of a 400 freestyle relay team that accumulated three victories over the course of the season ... finished second in the 100 free (55.37) against defending National Champions Cal ... finished sixth overall out of 24 swimmers in the 50 free (24.51) during her first ever NCAA swim meet at the WAC Shootout ... finished second for the `Dogs in both the 50 (24.23) and 100 free (53.95) against Fresno Pacific to contribute points for Fresno State's first dual meet victory since the return of the program ... finished third in the 50 free (24.32) against UCLA and Kansas.
