SAN ANTONIO, Texas -- The Fresno State swimming and diving team wrapped up competition at the Mountain West Conference Championships on Saturday evening and senior Hannah Prigge highlighted the final day of the meet for the Bulldogs.
The senior diver from Rocklin, Calif., finished fourth on the Platform with a score of 233.55. Prigge scored 15 points for the Bulldogs team total. This came after a fourth place finish on Thursday in the 3-meter dive.
Prigge will now turn her focus to the NCAA Zone E Diving Regional on March 6-8. The Zone E meet will be held in Colorado Springs, Colo.
Freshman Shelbie Holden finished 12th on the Platform. She finished a very strong showing this week at the conference championships with a score of 198.66 on the Platform.
Michelle Dockendorf finished 13th in the 200 Breaststroke. The senior from Santa Barbara, Calif., swam the race in 2:17.40.
Freshman Esme Gullick finished her first MW Championships with a couple of 14th place finishes in the 200 Backstroke and the 200 Fly. She finished the backstroke with a time of 2:01.09 and then just missed breaking her own school record in the 200 fly with a time of 2:02.53.
Sophomore Kelly Simmons finished 16th in the 1650 Freestyle swim. She finished the longest individual race of the entire meet in 16:58.47.
