FRESNO, Calif. - Thursday marked the first day of competition at the Zone E Diving Regionals in Colorado Spring, Colo. and Fresno State's Hannah Prigge came out with fire. She finished 13th in the 3-meter dive after she advanced to the final round of diving this afternoon.
The preliminary round showcased 49 divers and only the top 18 divers were set to advance to the final round. With Prigge's prelim score of 308.10, she easily moved to the finals in an eighth place seed.
Prigge's score of 308.10 carried over from the first round to the championship round and gave her a combined total of 579.60. Here final round score placed her in 13th out of the 18 divers that made it to the finals.
The Zone E Diving Regionals will continue tomorrow Friday, March 14, 2013 at the Cadet Natatorium on the United States Air Force Academy campus. Friday's competition will feature the 1-meter dive preliminaries starting at noon followed by the final round of 18 divers at 2:45 p.m.
