FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State sophomore Brittany Buna competed in the 400 IM Wednesday morning at the Canadian Olympic Trials and swam a best time of 5:01.84 and finished 27th.

"I was really proud of her today coming to the Olympic Trials and going faster is hard," said head swimming and diving coach Jeanne Fleck. "She has done a great job and has two more events to compete in this week."

On Friday, Buna will compete in the 200 IM on Friday, March 30 and the 200 Backstroke on Sunday, April 1. The meet is held in a long course pool and the top two swimmers will make the Canadian Olympic team.
