    FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State will honor its six seniors at the last meet in the Fresno State Aquatics Center this Saturday when they swim UC Davis at noon. The six Bulldog seniors are: Jen Hicks, Stacey Luke, Rayanne Nguyen, Sarah Pino, Britney Vogel and Dani Yoho.

    A Look At The Competition
    UC Davis: The Aggies are 6-2 on the season beating teams including San Jose State, CSU Bakersfield and Nevada. They are led by sophomore Hillary Hunt in the 100 and 200 backstrokes and by junior Haley Porter in the 50 and 100 freestyles.

    Bulldogs Take Third At The Beach Cup
    There were many 'Dogs that stood out over the two days of competition at the Beach Cup, most notably were Alex Madsen, Dani Yoho and Hannah Prigge. Madsen picked up three individual wins in the 100 back, 200 back and the 200 IM. Yoho had a speedy weekend in the pool winning the 50 freestyle as well as the 100 freestyle. Prigge swept the 1- and 3-meter board for the second time this season placing first on each. Overall, the divers had an outstanding weekend going one, two and three off the 1-meter and placing one, two and four on the 3-meter.

    Divers Final In Each Event
    Senior Stacey Luke advanced to the finals in both the 1- and 3- meter dive at the Bruin Diving Invitational hosted by UCLA. She placed sixth in the 1-meter and ninth in the 3-meter. Junior Hannah Prigge also made the finals in the 1-meter as well as the Platform dive. She placed ninth in the 1-meter and third in the Platform.

    Bulldogs Blaze Past Runners, Fall To Rebels
    The Fresno State swimming and diving team started the New Year strong with a 173-125 win over CSU Bakersfield and fell short to UNLV, 168-126. Seniors Dani Yoho and Stacey Luke both had standout performances in their respective events. Sprinter Yoho won the 50 Free with a 23.77 defeating her next opponent by over a half of a second. Diver Stacey Luke dominated both the 1- and 3-meter board winning both events scoring a 282.05 (1-meter) and 276.60 (3-meter).

    'Dogs Fall To San Diego State
    The Bulldogs challenged the Aztecs in a close meet, but fell to SDSU 133-128 in the last dual-meet of 2012 in San Diego. Dani Yoho stayed undefeated in the 50 free for dual-meets winning the race in a time of 23.56 and junior diver Hannah Prigge won both the 1- and 3-meter dive. Alex Madsen swam a fast 50 back clocking in at 27.69 less than seven-tenths of a second behind the first place finisher and freshman Dana Jones won the 50 yard fly with a time of 27.34 pulling ahead in a close race.

    Prigge Earns Second MW Honor
    Junior diver Hannah Prigge, who hails from Rocklin, Calif., won both springboard events in the Bulldogs' tight loss to San Diego State, 133-128, on Dec. 1. Prigge scored an NCAA qualifying mark of 284.40 to win the 1-meter springboard and a 315.30 on the 3-meter board, also an NCAA qualifying mark. Both scores rank as the third-highest recorded at the Aztec Aquaplex. Prigge currently ranks eighth in the Mountain West with her 1-meter season best score of 284.40. In the 3-meter she ranks seventh with her score of 315.30 and Prigge still holds the top score in the Mountain West for the platform dive with a 243.75.
