Fresno State sprinter Dani Yoho will make her first trip to the National Championships as she will compete in the 50- and 100-yard freestyle.
Yoho, a native of Sugar Land, Texas, will be the first Bulldog under head coach Jeanne Fleck's reign to compete at the highest collegiate meet. Yoho has improved every year since she arrived in 2009 and is excited that she is achieving all the goals she's set since she began.
"I'm just so honored that I was able to get this opportunity and that I've been able to achieve all the goals I've set for myself since I've been here," said Yoho. "I just can't wait to be a part of such a prestigious competition. It's such an honor to be able to swim with some of the best swimmers in the world."
Yoho, who is a senior in her final year of competition, became Fresno State's first ever individual Mountain West Champion by capturing the crown in the 50-yard freestyle. At the championships she set the Fresno State school record three times in the 50 with the fastest time of 22.32 which currently ranks 28th in the nation.
