FRESNO, Calif. -- On the final day of competition at the Zone E Diving Regionals, junior diver Hannah Prigge finished third in the Platform dive and qualified to compete at the NCAA National Championship meet March 20-23.
In the preliminary round 37 divers competed, each performing five dives. Prigge scored a 299.00 in the prelims good for a second place finish. In the final round of 12 divers, Prigge's scored a combined total of 582.15 and finished in third place, only 19.45 points out of second placed.
Prigge's performance on the platform advances to her first ever NCAA National Championship meet that will be held in Indianapolis, Ind. She will join Fresno State swimmer Dani Yoho as the duo will represent Fresno State and the Mountain West at the highest collegiate platform.
