FRESNO, Calif. -- Hannah Prigge is set to compete in the NCAA Championships for the second straight season. The championships take place at the University Aquatic Center on the campus of the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minn.
"This is a huge achievement for Hannah," Fresno State diving coach Taryn Patrick said. "She has once again proven that she is one of the best divers in the nation."
Prigge will open competition tomorrow morning at 9:00 a.m., PT with the 1-Meter Preliminary round. She will be one of 39 divers competing. Last weekend at the Zones, Prigge finished 8th in the 1-Meter.
On Friday, she will compete on the 3-Meter board, with the preliminary round starting at the same time as the previous day. There are 40 entries in the 3-Meter event.
The meet will conclude with the Platform competition on Saturday morning. Prigge is one of 26 divers competing on the Platform. Last weekend, she finished 2nd in this event with a score of 280.55.
The finals will start at 5:00 p.m., PT on each night.
"Hannah just needs to relax and dive," Patrick said. "If she does that, she'll be in the hunt to score points and possibly make finals. It's anybody's game once you get to NCAA's."
The finals on Friday and Saturday night will be live on ESPN3.com and all of Thursday's events along with the morning sessions on Friday and Saturday will be streamed live on gophersports.com.
