The Fresno State swimming and diving team hits the road to Davis, Calif. to compete against the UC Davis Aggies in their second trip of the season. Fresno State will dual UC Davis at the Shaal Aquatics Center and events will begin at 1 p.m. Recaps and results from the meet can be found on gobulldogs.com.
Souting the Aggies
UC Davis is 5-2 on the season. In their last double dual meet UC Davis won 12 of 14 swimming events to defeat Seattle and Loyola Marymount. They have also claimed victories against UOP, Nevada, and a second time against Loyola Marymount. Their only two losses come from UCLA and San Jose State.
Yoho Smashes School Record Twice
The Fresno State Bulldogs finished up their two-day road trip at Washington State scoring 96 points as a team to the 165 scored by the Cougars. The `Dogs won six events, a school record was broken, and multiple swimmers clocked lifetime and season bests. Sophomore Dani Yoho (Sugar Land, Texas) had two stellar performances for Fresno State. In the 50-yard freestyle race Yoho clocked a time of 23.54, smashing the previous school record she held of 23.64. Then she led off the 200-yard freestyle relay team with a time of 23.49, breaking the school record for the second time of the day with an even better time. Yoho is the fastest 50-yard swimmer in the Western Athletic Conference and is in the top 50 in the nation.
Four `Dogs Win at Idaho

In their first trip of the 2010-11 season, the Fresno State swimmers and divers fell to the Vandals 182-118, Nov. 5 at the University of Idaho Swim Center while four Bulldogs recorded five victories. Sophomore Britney Vogel won the 100-yard and 200-yard breaststroke events for a pair of first place finishes. Three other Bulldogs won their events: Rayanne Nguyen, Dani Yoho and Hannah Prigge.
