COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. --- Junior diver Hannah Prigge earned the Mountain West Diver of the Week honor for meets contested from Nov. 12-18, 2012. This was Prigge's first MW honor of the season.
Prigge, who hails from Rocklin, Calif., had a solid performance for the Bulldogs at the Phill Hansel Invitational in Houston, Texas, last week. Prigge became one of two MW divers to record an NCAA qualifying score in the platform dive this season. She scored a league-leading 243.75 and placed fourth in the event.
In the 3-meter springboard dive, Prigge improved her NCAA qualifying mark with a 310.45 to finish ninth overall. Prigge recorded a 243.60 in the 1-meter springboard to place 10th out of the 60 divers competing in Houston.
Next up, Prigge and the Bulldogs will travel to San Diego, Calif. to swim MW opponent San Diego State on Saturday, Dec. 1 at noon. That will be the final competition of 2012 and then they will kick off again on January 5, 2013 at CSU Bakersfield.
