Brittney had a stellar performance going up against some of the best swimmers in the country last weekend at the Toshiba Classic in Long Beach, Calif. She finished seventh overall out of 102 swimmers in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:04.05 and a best time on the weekend of 1:03.56. Her time was a mere .3 of a second off of the all-time Fresno State school record. Brittney also competed in the 400 IM finishing 39th out of 82 swimmers and helped propel both her 200 medley and 400 medley relay teams to 11th place finishes out of the 48 team field. Ultimately, Brittney made a huge contribution to her team's 11th place overall finish out of the 25 teams competing last weekend which was good enough to finish ahead of defending WAC Champions Nevada.
