FRESNO, Calif. --- Fresno State's Hannah Prigge was named the Mountain West Diver of the Week for the second week in a row, this time for her first-place finishes in the dual-meet at San Diego State.
Prigge, who hails from Rocklin, Calif., won both springboard events in the Bulldogs' tight loss to San Diego State, 133-128, on Dec. 1. Prigge scored an NCAA qualifying mark of 284.40 to win the 1-meter springboard and a 315.30 on the 3-meter board, also an NCAA qualifying mark. Both scores rank as the third-highest recorded at the Aztec Aquaplex.
Prigge currently ranks eighth in the Mountain West with her 1-meter season best score of 284.40. In the 3-meter she ranks seventh with her score of 315.30 and Prigge still holds the top score in the Mountain West for the platform dive with a 243.75.
The Bulldogs have a month away from competition before they resume again on Saturday, Jan. 5 at CSU Bakersfield. It will be a double-dual meet against CSUB and UNLV.
