FRESNO, Calif. -- The Fresno State women's swimmers will finish the 2013 portion of their schedule with a dual meet at Cal State East Bay on Saturday, December 7. The divers will not be competing as part of this dual meet that starts at 12 p.m., PT.

The `Dogs are 3-1 so far this season in dual meets, but will be short-handed when they take on the Pioneers this weekend.

"We're going to have four girls out of the water this weekend so that is going to make it a little tougher this weekend," head coach Jeanne Fleck said. "It is good for our team to have their backs up against the wall and find out if they are tough and will all have to step up."

Fresno State is getting back in the water after a weekend off following their impressive performance at the Arena Invitational in Los Angeles. The `Dogs started the final day of the invitational in seventh place in the team standings, but used a strong final day to surge to a fourth place finish.

Following this meet, the team will have a three-week break before their next event. Their first event of 2014 will be on Saturday, January 4 at home against Cal State Bakersfield for another dual meet.
