No. 16 Bulldogs' Fall to No. 10 USC, 6-1

FRESNO,Calif. - The No. 16-ranked women's tennis team fell to No. 10-ranked USC on Thursday in Los Angeles, Calif. The Bulldogs' knew the match would be a tough one when they entered the match. Playing at the No. 2 spot for doubles, sophomores Renata Kucerkova and Anastasia Petukhova played well in doubles as they won their match against Nelson and Kinstler, 8-1. "We had some good matches in singles, Melanie played well today," Head coach Simon Thibodeau said. "We had a good effort today, we just need to play tougher for the next match," Thibideau said. Thirteen-ranked Melanie Gloria played at the No. 1 spot for doubles and won her match against No.52-ranked Lindsey Nelson, 7-5, 7-5. Gloria improved to 17-8 overall and 9-4 in dual for the season. The Bulldogs are now 9-6 in dual for the season with a match against Harvard on Saturday, March 29th. NCAA Women's Tennis No. 10 USC def.
