    DENVER - Fresno State's Chloe Carlotti has been named the Western Athletic Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week.

    Carlotti, a sophomore from Paris, France, picked up the Bulldogs' only win in a 6-1 loss to No. 1 Stanford on Saturday. The No. 27th-ranked player in the nation, Carlotti defeated 17th-ranked Amber Liu 6-3, 4-6, 6-4 at No. 1 singles. The sophomore All-American ran her record to 11-5 on the season, including 2-0 in dual matches.

    Carlotti looks to continue her winning ways with a home match this weekend. Fresno State takes on No. 17 UNLV on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Wathen Tennis Center.
