    Bulldogs Host Santa Clara & Boise State for Home Opening Weekend
    After beginning the season with nine dual road matches, the Bulldogs are set to host No. 63 Santa Clara for their home opener on Friday, Feb. 21 at 3 p.m., at the Spalding G. Wathen Tennis Center. Fresno State will then hit the courts two days later to face Boise State for their first Mountain West match of the year at 10 a.m. Last season the 'Dogs recorded a 7-1 record at home at the Spalding G. Wathen Tennis Center, including a perfect 3-0 record in MW play in Fresno.

    About the Competition
    No. 63 Santa Clara (2-2) is coming off a 4-3 win over Cal Poly on Feb. 16. The Broncos are led by No. 28 Katie Le who competes in the top spot in both singles in doubles. Fresno Stat leads Santa Clara 7-0 all-time. When the two teams faced last year, the Bulldogs won 4-3 on the Broncos home court.

    Boise State (4-2) enters Sunday's MW dual against the Bulldogs having lost its last two matches to BYU and Utah. The Bulldogs lead Boise State 13-3 all-time and defeated the Broncos 4-3 last year in Boise. The Broncos are set to face Santa Clara on Saturday before playing Fresno State.

    Double Header with Men's Tennis
    Friday, Feb. 21 will be a jam packed day of tennis at Spalding G. Wathen Tennis Center. This is the only chance to catch both the Fresno State men's and women's tennis teams at home in the same day. The men's team starts the day off with a dual match against MW opponent No. 69 New Mexico at 11 a.m. The women's team is set to follow directly after with its home opener against No. 63 Santa Clara at 3 p.m. Admission is free for both events.

    ITA Campus Kids' Day
    Sunday, Feb. 23 is ITA Campus Kids' Day at Spalding G. Wathen Tennis Center. The first 20 kids to the match will receive a free `Future Bulldogs' shirt (sizes may vary). There will also be an opportunity for everyone to take a picture with Timeout!

    ITA Rankings
    Sophomore Sophie Watts earned a singles ITA ranking of No. 41 in the latest polls, moving up 63 spots from her original ranking of No. 104. While Aishwarya Agrawal and Claire Yang dropped their national doubles ranking, they have maintained a regional doubles ranking of No. 7. Watts was also ranked at No. 15 in the ITA Northwest Region rankings. The next round of rankings will be release on Feb. 25.

    Stotland Enters Second Season
    Head coach Ryan Stotland enters his second season at the helm of the Fresno State women's tennis program. In his first year at the reigns, Stotland led the team to a 7-3 conference record, which finished the Bulldogs tied for second in the Mountain West. In their first-year in the conference, Stotland's Bulldogs garnered multiple accolades. Under his guidance freshman Rana Sherif Ahmed won the Mountain West Freshman of the Year award, along with being named to the All-Mountain West Singles Team and All-Mountain West Doubles team with senior Melissa McQueen. Under Stotland's leadership three Bulldogs also earned MW Player of the Week in 2013. Stotland also guided the 'Dogs to their highest ITA ranking of No. 52, which came on Feb. 12, 2013, and also had two doubles pairs earn ITA rankings throughout the year.
