    2013 (REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE): With starts in five straight matches in September and October and once in November, was rewarded with several career bests ... overall, played 46 sets among her 18 matches played, and ranked third on squad in blocks (0.76 p/s) ... in late September, logged a career high and team season high in blocks (9) in four sets vs. Utah State and led the team in the category in four matches ... the weekend before in the UC Irvine Tournament, her six blocks against American was her second-best mark of the year, and she had an ace vs. the Eagles and Anteaters ... earlier in the tourney, she racked up six kills and a season-high hitting mark (.857) vs. Xavier with no errors among her seven attempts ... her season high in kills (7) came vs. Belmont, and she hit .700 with no errors on her 10 attempts ... her other match with +5 blocks came at New Mexico (5) in late November.     2012 (REDSHIRT FRESHMAN): Appeared in 21 matches and made nine starts as a middle blocker ... averaged 0.65 kills, 0.39 blocks and 0.14 digs per set in 49 sets played ... tallied 32 kills, three assists and seven digs on the year ... tallied three solo blocks and 16 assisted blocks for a total of 19 on the year ... recorded a career-high six kills against UC Santa Barbara while hitting .357 against the Gauchos ... hit .300 or better in five matches ... recorded a career best four blocks against NAU ... recorded a career-high seven points against UC Santa Barbara and totaled 43 points on the season.     HIGH SCHOOL: Along with her twin sister, Katie, who is also a member of the Bulldog volleyball team, helped lead Presentation High School to a fifth-place finish in the nation, according to MaxPreps.com, and advanced to the NorCal Division II finals for volleyball ... named All-WCAL and All-Mercury News Honorable Mention in volleyball (2010) and basketball (2010 and 2011) ... she and Katie also sparked the school's basketball team to the 2011 CCS basketball championship title, appearances in both the 2010 WCAL and CCS championships and berths in the NorCal Division II semifinals as both juniors and seniors.

    PERSONAL: Born Dec. 16, 1992 in Santa Clara, Calif. ... parents are Vince and Carrie Pearson ... has two sisters, Diana and Katie ... hobbies include art, camping, cooking and reading ... biggest athletic thrill was winning the 2011 CCS basketball championship against Archbishop Mitty ... most admires her parents because they have always supported her in everything that she's done and helped raise her to be the person that she is today ... also recruited by Fresno Pacific, Nevada, San Francisco and San Jose State ... chose to attend Fresno State because she loved the athletic support of the college.
