The Bulldogs landed 60 kills, but made 10 more attacking errors than the Vandals and were outhit .232 to .203 by the third-place team in the WAC standings.

"If we can have the mental toughness, we can beat just about any team in our league," head coach Lauren Netherby-Sewell said. "We just made too many errors tonight. Idaho is a very consistent team."

Fresno State wraps up regular season play at home on Saturday against Utah State, which will provide both teams a tune-up for the upcoming WAC Tournament where both teams will face each other again in the opening round on Nov. 21 at 7:30 p.m. PT.

"It is great to have one more opportunity to know our opportunity before the tournament and get more experience on the floor," Netherby-Sewell said, who was happy to be back after missing the team's road trip last week under doctor's orders during the late stages of her pregnancy.
