FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State volleyball begins the second half of its spring season as the `Dogs head south once again. This time, the `Dogs will play in the Cal State Northridge Spring Tournament Saturday, April 18.

Fresno State will compete in Pool A with Cal State Northridge and San Diego State. Pool B consists of Pepperdine, UC Irvine and Cal State Fullerton while Pool C contains UC Santa Barbara, Cal State Bakersfield and Loyola Marymount.

"We just keep looking for certain progressions," said head coach Lauren Netherby-Sewell. "Our numbers looked pretty good two weeks ago (at Long Beach), but on the beach we were looking for different things, so now we are looking for progression indoors. We are playing some high-level teams from the West Coast Conference and the Big West, teams that we want to start emulating so it's going to be very challenging but we are just watching our side of the net right now and trying to keep increasing our successful numbers."

Pool play begins at 8:30 a.m. and concludes with the final matches beginning at 2:30 p.m. all matches will be played at the Matadome and the Activity Center on the CSUN Campus. All matches are two games to 25 points with rally scoring or 55 minutes.

Fans can park for $5.00 at the Information Booth or the yellow kiosk.
