PrepVolleyball.com Ranks Recruiting Class Among the Best

    FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State's 2009 recruiting class was ranked among the top 90 in the country by PrepVolleyball.com as the `Dogs were one of 45 Division I schools to earn Honorable Mention and the only program in the Western Athletic Conference to earn the honor.

    The Bulldogs 2009 class consists of: Cecilia Agraz, 6-2 OH, Hanford (CA), Marissa Brand, 6-1 MB, Cypress (CA), and Taylor Horton, 6-0 MB, Notre Dame (Sherman Oaks (CA).

    "Making any of PrepVolleyball.com's "Top" lists is a nice reward," said head coach Lauren Netherby-Sewell. "This one in particular speaks volumes about our bright future. It's also a tribute to my hard-working, brilliant and loyal assistant coaches, and a team full of student-athletes who are the BEST hosts a coach could ask for. Our incoming class is full of talent, personality and potential. I'm so pleased their talents were recognized."

    With the help of a network of more than 100 college coaches, PrepVolleyball.com presents the top collegiate recruiting classes of 2009.

    The top 30 schools were ranked, with the next 15 listed as "Highest Honorable Mention" and 45 others receiving either "High Honorable Mention" or "Honorable Mention" recognition.
