Senior Kelly Leonardo and sophomore Brianna Clarke were named to the second-team while freshman Marissa Brand was named to the all-freshman team.

This is the first time since 2004 that three Bulldogs have earned All-WAC honors in the same year.

This is the first All-WAC honor for Leonardo, the middle blocker from Merced, Calif. Leonardo was ranked in the top 10 in the WAC with nearly a .300 hitting percentage for most of the season. She will leave Fresno State as one of the most prolific blockers in school history, currently ranking in the top 10 in block solos, block assists and total blocks.

This is the second-straight All-WAC honor for Clarke, a right side hitter from Fresno, Calif. Clarke became the first Bulldog since Tiffany Bishop (2003-04) to earn back-to-back All-WAC honors. She ranked near the top of the WAC all season in blocks per set and in the top 10 in the region and top 20 in the country. She also led the team in kills and was ranked in the top 10 in the WAC in hitting percentage.

Brand continued the streak of Bulldogs earning All-WAC honors, as Fresno State has had at least one freshman make the team since 2004. A middle blocker from Cypress, Calif., Brand led all freshmen on the team in kills, hitting percentage and blocks.

Hawai'i head coach Dave Shoji was named WAC Coach of the Year. Hawai'i also swept the WAC Player of the Year and Freshman of the Year with Kanani Danielson and Brittany Hewitt earning the honors.

Fresno State takes on Nevada in the quarterfinals on the WAC Tournament on Monday at 7:30 p.m. at the Orleans Arena. Live stats will be available at www.gobulldogs.com. Fans can watch live feed of the match for a small fee on the WAC website, www.wacsports.com.
