    Fresno State Cheerleaders

    The Fresno State Cheerleaders are a spirited squad that entertains the Red Wave and enhances the fan experience at Bulldog Athletic events by executing stunts and leading the crowd in cheers. In addition to performing at Bulldog Stadium for home football games and the Save Mart Center for home volleyball matches and basketball games, the cheerleaders also travel to perform at select away football games and postseason basketball events.

    *To participate in tryouts, you must have completed Spirit Program Application with head shot, Tryout Waiver form, Physical form, University acceptance letter (if incoming and/or transfer student) and Registration fee. Participants under 18 years of age MUST be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IF ANY OF THE REQUIRED ITEMS OR TEST RESULTS ARE MISSING.

    IMPORTANT: Those trying out must show proof of medical insurance. Those who make the team MUST have medical insurance (NO MEDICARE, ANTHEM MEDICARE, ETC.) that covers athletic injuries in order to participate in the spirit program activities (i.e. practice, games and appearances) during the school year.

    2013-14 Mandatory CHEER Team Practice Schedule

    Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 6:00-8:00 AM (Month of August) *times subject to change
    Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 4:30-6:00 PM (Late August-November)
    Monday & Wednesday: 4:30-6:00 PM (November-March)

    MORNING WORKOUTS
    Monday & Wednesday: 5:00-6:00 AM (September-March)
